I’ve been testing various Vita games over the last few weeks to see which still work online. There are only three PS Vita games that work online where I’ve actually been able to find people to play with. Find out which ones in the video.

09.11.2023You missed Helldivers its similar to COD that there are still lot of players even more players than NFS plus its crossplay that helps being more active.

13.01.2023I'm still having a blast trying to beat your best times on Motorstorm RC. In your review you mentioned that your times weren't that great, but they have definitely provided a solid challenge. The best part about that game is the initial feeling that it would be impossible to beat your current time and then actually doing it a couple minutes later with a flawless run. Always great to see new Vita videos from you. Happy New Year!

12.01.2023I think the trick these days is to find a Vita community for a game and then arrange online playing that way.
For example, there's a discord server for Toukiden.
I also often see people on Reddit in Vita subreddits asking .

12.01.2023Games I still play online are Unit 13, Black ops, silent hill book of memories,need for speed, and resident evil revelation 2. I have a few friends I play with online I never play with randoms.

12.01.2023It's been rough couple of years for the PS Vita. We lost Killzone Mercenary and LBP.
I just got platinum trophies for Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable and Virtua Tennis 4 before the New Year. Those spiders are hell if you are playing as Storm. Pale Wing is on another level compared to Storm since she can fly and has a better arsenal.
Hopefully I can find someone else with Virtual-On for the PS Vita. I mainly look on Discord, the PS Vita subreddit, and PSNProfiles to find people to play with.

12.01.2023I'd be interested to know if "Street Fighter vs. Tekken" is still up and running. I played it two years or so ago and was shocked at how busy it was — I expected it to be a bit of a ghost town, but I was swarmed with challengers.

11.01.2023The biggest loss for me was Sound Shapes. The servers went down long ago and I lost all my level creations. Some warning would have been nice, as online levels were downloadable.

11.01.2023This video's title alone reminds me of Mystic's annual videos of PS3 / PS Vita Online in (insert year). PS3 online this year is still possible but as for Vita one, it may or may not happen. Also, being able to use cross-play features with PS3 or PS4 consoles for a few games is still neat.

11.01.2023I got the itch to play some GTA Chinatown wars lately so I fired up my first time in a while and I’m still impressed with and and love that thing.
Cod stays active but it’s rife with cheaters since there are so many modded systems and I don’t know who is running the servers for it but they definitely aren’t monitoring them. That’s one game though if you play COD mobile, you can’t help but be impressed by the vita game that came all those years earlier.
I would be shocked if Helldivers isn’t still very active on Vita, it was cross play with with ps 3,4 and Vita and is backwards compatible with PS5. I’d say there was a bigger player base for that than any Vita game. It’s sad those SNK fighters don’t have an active community. They were pretty much DOA, nobody was playing them online even at launch. I don’t get it because the games have excellent net rollback code, and I remember growing up in the arcade heyday with lines of people standing around to compete on those arcade cabs. Online fighting was a dream at that point and even better if you could fight against anyone anywhere on a portable device that would have been mind blowing. But it’s like nobody plays fighting games online unless it’s street fighter 5 or Tekken 7
